Alright I have absolutely no idea what it is, but some of you might have noticed the new thing on the bottom of the page that says Community Chest. If you click on it you will be able to donate to the site with however much amount of money you would like. This is a DONATION which is optional, meaning you do not have to donate if you do not want to. This will help purchase a domain name for the website. To have a second level domain name for a year is $15. So if anyone does donate I will be able to purchase the domain name. I was thinking about purchasing the domain name on my own so it would just be, www.kinosboard.com, or whatever I would want it to be.

So if you would like to donate go ahead, but do not feel the need that you have to.

EDIT: Alright I went and looked it up on my admin control panel and I looked it up on the freeforums.org Support forums. So whatever you donate I get 80% of to purchase any of the following:

- Second-Level Domain Name: $15 a year
- Ad Removal: $4.95 a month
- Copyright Removal: $10 a year

The domain name is where in the forum link there would be no .freeforums.org. It could be, www.kinosboard.com/.net/.org/

Second the Ad Removal, which I think is pretty self-explanatory.

Third the Copyright Removal removes the Hosted by FreeForums.org at the bottom of the page.

http://www.1and1.com is the cheapest domain seller I know of. It's about $7 (definitely pay with a credit/debit card, don't go paypal) a year for a domain. And discounts if you do more than 1 year, etc.

I *think* what you can do it is buy it off of 1and1, and then simply forward it to here in the 1and1 control panel. I think that's all you gotta do. If not, you'd have to buy hosting. And if you did that, you might as well get phpbb3 downloaded for free and upload it. You can always e-mail them and ask them first.. about "If I buy a domain name, can I forward the domain name without purchasing hosting for the domain?".

Also, for a domain name... maybe pick something a little more "broad" than kinosboard, because you might want to expand on it later. Maybe kinoweb. or kinosworld, etc. I know a guy named zane who made zanesavage.com - he just put an extra word on the end of his name. Just some thoughts.

I'm using it, and it works fine for me, no ad banners or anything, just the .awardspace.com extension
