I thought I'd give this forum a good role play ^_^. This rp's base story: An ice mage apprentice named Bakani (ba-ka-ne, not bikini, lol) nimbly escapes his master's burning hut with a mysterious pouch his master gave to him and told him with his last breath to take the contents of the pouch to a secret place he had found many years ago in the planet's southern polar ice caps. There he was to open it and take the object inside out and put it in the jewel socket in the middle of the chestplate Bakani had been given to train with. He then died in his apprentice's arms, and Bakini left for his destination with seconds to spare before the mysterious artisans returned, only to find what they came there for to be gone. They split up to spread out a search around the area for it, while 5 (this is the maximum, if we can't get enough people to play them, we'll just have at least 2) of the most skilled in their clan went out to find the master's apprentice, as there is the possiblity that the apprentice ran off with what they seeked. They then find a few noticible clues to where Bakani may have went, and travel in that direction with blazing speed... All right, to join in on this rp, fill out this form and pm it to me. I'll put it in this main post, so people know who you are. You will be choosing one of the people trying to find Bakani. You will think up a name for them. I'll be using Alchemist's form, but I'll be taking out a few things, like history, as not knowing their history or where they came from will play a major role.... Well, not really, but it makes them more mysterious =3. Code: User name: Character name: Character gender: Weapon(s): Appearance: I'll be playing the ice apprentice. The characters: 1. User name: Bakamana Character name: Bakani Character gender: male Weapon(s): a small dagger for emergencies, mainly weak ice magic (for now) Appearance: tattered brown traveling clothes, light blue hair, skin has a faint bluish tinge that is hard to notice. 2. username: xXmurphXx charachter name: mandra gender: male weapons : short sword wooden shield weak white magic apperance: brown spiky hair red head band,tattered clothes sheath on his back I thougt I might explain my character best friends wit ur guy and aprentice to your masters brother, his master is a great swordsman and his mother was a healer. He hears you were goin on a journey and begs you to come. 3. User name: Zarlin the Mage Character name: Zarlin Character gender: Male Weapon(s): Magic staff (boosts magic power), Solar (Fire&Light) Magic Appearance: Zarlin is tall and quite pale, has long, bloodred hair. His eyes are coloured red, but have a thin yellowish circle around the black of the eye. Usual clothing consists of loose, red cotton-ish clothing and a black cloak, both with numerous pockets. He wears a transparent crystal bracelet around his left wrist. Always with him is his long staff, made of hard wood, which holds a red crystal at the tip. Battle qualities consist primarily of magic. Ok, send your applications and post =3. Oh ya, and this rp is mainly meant to be said from the 1st person point of veiw from your character. |

Excuse the wait, I got addicted to Brawl wi-fi =D. Ok, here we go *ahem*. Murph, here's where your character is at the moment. Captured by the clan that burnt down the hut and are trying to catch me. Have fun =P Zarlin, your one of the more powerful people in this clan, and you are sent to catch me. No god modding you two. Ok, me start. It emanates power. That must be it. That must be what they were after. Why else would such a powerful clan attack a small cottage in the middle of such a dangerous forest? I feel powerful from just holding it... It feels strange. But it isn't evil. A pure power source. A true rarity. My master always had it with him. He never spoke of it, and I never asked. And yet look where it has apparently brought us. He's dead, and I'm on the run. Great. I can sense the clan's great power even from this distance. Each a master of a different element. I used my superb ability to sense magical patterns to look at the scene at my cottage... The one of the fire element was walking out of a temporary tent. There were tent's in a little area a few yards east of my burnt cottage. The water one was searching the rubble. The Earth one was sleeping in the 3rd tent. The wind one was also searching the rubble. The most powerful one, the Dark one, was writing something on a desk in the first tent. I noticed that none of them was a light or ice master. After inspecting the scene, I continued to run. But to where? |

"Finally got some useful information out of that healer" I think to myself. I walk towards the tent where Shinoto was busy, and entered it. Shinoto's tall, slender figure sat on the floor, while writing in her log. "He's apparently missing the cold, we should depart soon" She closes her log and stands up. Her long hair is tied together, and flows down her back. Tight black cloth covers her chest and legs, her hands protected by gloves. A large katana hangs sheathed on her back. "Let's go!" She said loud enough for those outside to hear. We quickly take down the tents and are on our way. Hiite, a young, yet very clever boy manipulated the wind, pushing us forward. |

Sorry I'm never on, I keep forgetting... and your pretty good at role plays 0.0. Ok, here I go. It was getting dark. They were gaining. But they would be fools to stay in the open in this forest. The Forest of the Many.... What a strange name. There certainly are many of them , but it's still a weird name. They better hope they have garlic. Or they'll be eaten alive. I calculated that they would not be able to reach me before dark if I stopped here. So I stopped and began preparing a ring of garlic to protect me Then, I focused my will to create a bed of ice. It may seem strange to sleep on ice, but not if it's just the right shape and temperature.... Oh, and you have to be an ice mage to. Or you won't be immune to hypothermia and... well... nevermind. I laid in the bed and drifted off, crying myself to sleep in a sea of regret. |

The setting sun casts long shadows amidst a fiery glow. We haven't lost speed since out departure, in the distance a dark line appears on the horizon. "Forest ahead!" Our Earth user, Brint, yells. Apparently he felt the forest before we could distinguish it. Brint's huge body has a brownish hue, like forest soil. He has the higherst physical strength of us all, but is low on magic power. His savage appearance opposes his usual gentle nature. He was an outcast, and is closer to plants and trees than to other humans. Without slowing down, we storm inbetween the trees, the sun just drowned beneath the horizon. "This forest.. there's something wrong" Shinoto says We stop in the middle of a glade, the moon is rising. Around us, the presence of hunger hangs thick in the air. "Prepare to fight many!" Shinoto shouts My blood starts flowing rapidly through my veins, the temperature around me rises. From the trees, shadows creep in our direction, we are surrounded. Skeletal hands reach out from the ground. "Above!" A winged shadow plunges down from the moon, towards Shinoto. She draws her blade faster than the eye can see, a rain of blood falls down. Then, the circle surrounding us tightens.. |

I can't sleep. I hear fighting far in the distance. Are they really trying to fight them? They will keep coming. Not even a god can live a whole night in this forest unprotected. My bed of ice and my natural cold aura protect me from most of the beasts of the forest, and my ring of garlic protects me from... well, them. I dare not even think the name, lest I attract them. Even if they can't get to me through the garlic, their eyes and thirst for blood boring down on me will kill me in itself. Perhaps whoever is chasing me is only encountering the minor skeletons and gargoyles of the forest.... Wait until the vamp... A scuttle in the distance. That was close. They can read minds... when you think of them, they come... |

Heat blasts from my hands, some creature that stormed towards me returns to ash. The sound of battle makes my blood race, a red haze covers my eyes. All I want is kill, kill, kill.. I keep blasting fire in all directions, some trees catch fire, creatures still storm through the flames. Nothing stops them, except utter destruction. "I smell something!" Hiite shouts I awake from my rage in a short moment of clarity "What is it?!" I call out, while cutting some winged creature in pieces with a focused beam of light. "Garlic, I think!" Hiite responds "Garlic?!" Shinoto shouts "Is someone expecting a Vampire?!" As the last word echoes through the trees, it becomes silent. The creatures crawl back into the woods. All that can be heard is the clackling of the flames. The moon is blotted out by a dark aura, the air becomes thick with a sadistic desire. "Wonderful idea.." I sigh.. |

I was awoke from my painful slumber by a dark lust. Someone else was in the forest, and had attracted the attraction of the vampires. Good luck to anyone who they're going after. Although it won't help, no matter how powerful they may be, even one vampire can kill them instantly. And there are hundreds... I went back to sleep, expecting these troubles to be solved by morning. |
